Represented by IKED and Fraunhofer FOKUS, GINI takes part in organising special side-event at the World Economic Forum in Davos, on "THE RISE OF BORDERLESS ELECTRONIC IDENTITIES: ADDRESSING INTERNET PRIVACY, SECURITY AND TRUST IN THE POST-PASSWORD ERA" PDF Print E-mail

In Davos, January 21, GINI takes part in the organisation of a follow-up event to "Digital Identities and Security in the New Global Context", with WISeKey in Geneva as the main sponsor. For the 2015 session, special attention will be paid to the importance of addressing a coherent system for digital identities at a time when big data and the Internet of Things are just around the corner. Problems with Digital Security and breaches of privacy may move from increasingly serious to untenable in the era now under way. The 2015 session attracts broad stakeholder participation, including with high-level participation from the financial sector in Europe and the United States. Follow-up from Davos 2015 could provide critical momentum for scaling work on the implementation of the GINI Roadmap.
